7 born - 3 Tri boys | 4 tri girls
Our lovely Kendall whelped this litter with ease and right on schedule, resulting in 6 vigorous and healthy Tricolour puppies, and one girl who was born not breathing. We resuscitated her… and now joke that too much life was breathed into her as of course, she is the most vivacious and gregarious Collie you’ve ever known. We expected a tri and sable litter, and waited and waited for Kendall to deliver a brown one as Leah had made a pass that tris are always wicked… alas no sables arrived so it seems we were destined to have our hands full! Within the first 24hrs Kenny had taken to motherhood like she was absolutely born to it and continued to love and nurture (and feed!) her babies until they were 8 weeks old!
This litter was raised in our city home so desensitisation was never a worry, being directly under the flight path and with all the noises and activity that comes with the territory. They did indeed live up to their wild expectations and were just SO much fun to have around. Mischief abounds, but insanely sweet and loving, independent and brave nevertheless. We had promised that if there was female puppy with show potential, she would be placed with a friend in Canberra who was interested in showing, so “Dolly” - a very upstanding girl who commanded attention from the second she was born - went to live with Greta & Elliot and together they have made an entrance into the show ring that I think will see Greta stick around the sport.
“Stella” owned by the Tumilty family has dabbled in herding with her mother Kendall, and “Lexie” owned by the Randall family was destined for the agility arena. “Zorro” owned by the Wilkinson family is loved and doted on by their 4 children, “Shadow” who was our show prospect male is as handsome as ever and is as his name suggests a constant shadow to his owner Ryan; who’s family have owned Vedamea Collies for decades. Last but not least “Cino” owned by Irene lives his best life on the Central Coast, where they spend their spare time hiking in the gorgeous surrounds.
Love and wishes to all babies from this bubbly litter.
This gorgeous litter was bred by Leah & Barry Ryan -

We can’t thank Leah & Barry enough for the opportunity and education, mentorship, trust & guidance.
Immense thanks also to my dear friend Kobi Cotton (Dreamoz Australian Shepherds) whos help and assistance with this litter was invaluable.
